Anita is a passionate holistic biological dentist and has 19 years of experience. She has a whole body approach and uses the most biocompatible materials and treatments to maintain harmony with the patient’s overall health.
Anita offers Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) for patients who would like their amalgam fillings removed and replaced with white fillings. Anita completed her training for this with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT). She is listed in the British Society of Mercury Free Dentistry.
Anita has a very holistic approach to general dentistry including prevention, diet advice and using minimally invasive techniques to conserve tooth tissue.
Anita understands that some patients would prefer to avoid a root canal treatment and instead she can offer an extraction and then a replacement for the tooth.
Anita commenced practising holistically in 2017, when she started to treat her patients alongside with leading functional medicine practitioners.
Anita is a caring, patient and trusted dentist and has experience with a variety of patients including children, patients with special needs and dental anxiety.
Anita qualified from The University of Sheffield. She has a diploma membership with the Royal College of Surgeons, in Edinburgh.
Anita had done volunteer work abroad including in India and with the Aboriginal Medical Service.
Anita enjoys spending time with family, meditation, yoga, running and swimming.
